Condition: Juvenile too small to survive the winter.
On arrival to Brackley HogWatch rescue centre Patsy was extremely small. The normal faecal analysis was done.
During captivity this animal ended up rather overweight at 900g, proportionately, her frame was tiny and she could only just roll up fully. Her weight could not be allowed to increase like the other females. Her natural weight will probably be 800g, other females might settle at around 1150g. Future weighings will give us more accurate information on this.
This hedgehog was constantly monitored using CCTV, throughout the Winter and was released back into the Winston Crescent area of Brackley.
